I’m building an electric twin. Should I wire my motors in series or parallel? We’ll have some explanations why series connections are better than parallel but the biggest reason is efficiency. If you hook the motors in series the noload current of both motors is equal to the no-load current of the individual motors so you don't have to suffer in that area.
